GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF
FREE COMMUNICATIONS (Platform
and Posters) ABSTRACTS
The entire abstract, including
title, author(s), institution(s),
country and acknowledgement,
must fit within a main A4
page (21 x 29,7 cm).
Write in CAPITALIZE LETTERS the entire title.
Then state the authors
names, listing first author
who will present the paper.
One space between title
and body of the abstract.
No space between paragraphs.
The abstract should be as informative
as possible : Organize the
body of the abstract to
include the objective (preferably
one sentence), the methods
used, the results obtained
and conclusion Standard
abbreviations may be used.
Place special or unusual
abbreviations in parentheses
after the full word, the
first time it appears. Use
numerals to indicate numbers,
except to begin sentences.
Non-proprietary (generic) names
are required when a drug
is mentioned, written in
small letters. Proprietary
names may be given in parentheses
the first time the drug
is mentioned.
It is preferable that the abstract
be typed on word
Software.
The abstract will be reproduced
exactly as submitted in
the book of abstracts. Therefore
avoid errors and misspellings
The scientific secretariat will
acknowledge receipt of your
abstract.
You will be informed about the
acceptance of your free
communication about 30 days
after receipt by the scientific
secretary, at the latest
by 20 February 2004.
Your abstract will be definitely
accepted if you are registered
in the congress, otherwise,
your abstract will not be
published in the abstract
book and you will not be
allowed to present your
communication during the
congress.
Prizes will be awarded during
the congress for the best
free communication.
